Excellent location, parking, attentive and friendly staff. Food was excellent- Mediterranean is a fave of mine. Artists who created the prices displayed is incredibly talented. Captured such emotion in those pieces- had me deep in thought as I was fortunate enough to enjoy a dinner that perhaps the people who inspired those paintings may not be as fortunate- actually are not as fortunate. Support this restaurant and it’s mission- a mission we all should be supporting as human nation. It’s not just important when it involves you - it could be you tomorrow- will anyone care? We had the hummus and falafel and Chicken Ouzi, with an Arnold Palmer and then Backlava Sundae for dessert!
The food, service and atmosphere were outrageous and we will be going back regularly.

The inside is very open and nicely decorated, and seems to be a popular family spot. The food was SO GOOD - not a single thing was mediocre or bad. It all tasted so fresh and made with love.
My favorite was the chicken shawarma, the chicken was cooked perfectly with very fragrant spices, and the rice was amazing as well. They have a few locations throughout NY, and I highly recommend you visit the closest one to you. Ayat is a can’t miss.
