I'm so glad the neighborhood has this place. The menu is extensive and has a lot of different things to try. Their spring rolls, sandwiches and tacos are delicious and fresh. The pho soup is hearty and filling, but I wish they had more topping options like bok choy or some vegetable. The owner is very friendly and on multiple occasions, has brought me some chips and sauce while I waited for my takeout order. She is very accommodating and has definitely earned my trust as a return customer.

Small storefront in a strip mall on Hylan Blvd. near Nelson Ave. More of a takeout place but some small tables to eat in. First thing on the table was some chips with an interesting dipping sauce. Sort of a pico de gallo with fish sauce. Very tasty. I ordered from the regular menu instead of a lunch special. I was pleasantly surprised when the won ton soup arrived with excellent garlic bread on the side. Won tons were small but there was plenty of them. My banh mi was nicely filled on good bread. My only complaint would be there was too little daikon, mostly carrots. Service was quick and friendly. I'll b e back for some pho.

i’ve been coming to this place for years and both owners were great. i mostly get the grilled chicken banh mi, but on occasion i also get the shrimp spring rolls with rice paper. the food is delectable and the service is amazing. whenever my friends and i eat inside, the owner always offers small, free snacks for us to munch on before our meals come. i can’t explain in words how much i love this place. i’ve tried so many banh mi places, and while they’re good in itself, this place always hits the spot. whenever i tell my friends i could eat banh mi for the rest of my life and never get tired, i’m referring to this place’s banh mi !!

not to mention the portion sizes. they STUFF that banh mi, and every bite is enjoyable. the food is fresh and filling.

I loved this place. We were out walking and decided to stop in here, and it was the perfect lunch spot. Got the grilled pork and beef short rib spicy banh mis, and both were fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!

If you’re looking for a place that serves fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented Vietnamese food, Banhmis is the spot. The attention to detail in both the food and service is outstanding.

We ordered a sampler platter, and it was nothing short of amazing. The shrimp spring rolls were light, fresh, and packed with crisp veggies perfectly paired with a rich peanut dipping sauce. The crispy egg rolls had a golden crunch and burst with savory filling, especially delicious with the sweet chili sauce. Their Vietnamese sausage had that satisfying smoky-sweet flavor, while the fried chicken wings were juicy, crispy, and addictive. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and authentic.

What really stood out were the dipping sauces. Each one brought a unique balance of sweet, savory, and tangy flavors that elevated the dishes. It wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience in how flavors can complement each other.

The presentation was beautiful too
served on a bamboo tray with fresh lettuce and vibrant colors that made the whole spread feel inviting.

Banhmis strikes the perfect balance between homestyle comfort and restaurant quality refinement. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch, a dinner with friends, or just craving fresh and bold Vietnamese flavors, this place should be at the top of your list.

Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!

I have to say, the General Tso’s chicken is easily one of the best I’ve had. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce struck that ideal balance of sweet, savory, and tangy with just the right amount of heat, coating every piece without being too heavy

rice was light and fluffy, soaking up the flavors beautifully, and the broccoli added a fresh crunch to round out the dish. The portion was generous, and every bite was satisfying from start to finish.
