If I could I could give this place a zero, I would.
Ordered at 5:25, website said pickup at 6:15, arrive at 6:23, got our order at 7:03.
The drumsticks are straightup inedible. They could’ve passed as turkey drumsticks. This is important because I’ve never seen a Korean fried chicken place with drumsticks this size. They were not properly breaded at all. The inside of one was so plain and flavorless, me and my friends ripped the inside meat out to feed my dog. However we have to reboil it again because the inside wasn’t fully cooked to the bone.
The wings are passable in comparison. Nothing to write home about.
Our fries were cold, stale, and flavorless. The corn was canned corn with melted cheese on top. The best part of this meal was the radish.
This has been one of the most memorable meals of my life. Korean fried chicken has never made me lose my appetite until I went to this bonchon. The Koreans would be ashamed to claim this as their chicken.
The cashier lady was really apologetic though and going through it so I get it. No hate to the employees but won’t be coming back.

It is as bad as the other reviews claimed to be. I went in on a Sat around 4ish, already saw 5 angry customers crowding the front cashier. I was craving korean chicken so i ordered a 20 pieces anyway since i dont mind waiting. Overheard that one customer has been waiting in person for an hour but still didnt get her order. Another customer ordered online 30 min ago and apparently app said food is ready but has been here in the store for 20 min waiting for his food..... I think the only one cashier and one kitchen staff are trying their best but their communication is horrible. P.S. They had trouble finding one of the online order... Rip that person.... They even gave someone the wrong fries size order (dont forget to check before leaving! ). Luckily i think it is easier for them to make fried chicken in bulk so i got my order within 20 minutes....so dont order other items if it is on the weekend or rush hours.....probably an hour wait minimum
However the story didn't end there..... First time trying this place and with my previous multi- korean chicken eating ,mainly bbq chicken, i have a certain standards for it. The pieces of chicken were sooo small!!! 20 pieces cost about $30 and the coleslaw was super small too..... I honestly should have went to Popeyes for wings or some chinese takeout place for general tso or kung pao chicken.... The only pros are the crunchiness and the taste... However it is rock hard when it is cold... So imagine all those ppl waiting one hour for their cold korean chicken and other food..... They really need management at this store....but man i wish someone can open bbq chicken so i dont have to order from this place when i want korean chicken

We waited almost an hour for our food. Maybe they are understaffed. We tried to cancel our food and they just kept saying it would come out. Do not come here.

I ordered take out: bugolgi bibimbap, soy chicken fried rice, French fries, and 6 pieces of wings. The rice from both dishes were so hard I was almost crunching on them and it stuck to my teeth. The chicken from the chicken fried rice was super dry and hard as well. The 6 piece wings were good and crispy, however, I got 4 wings and 2 drumsticks and that’s not what I paid for. The fries were just cold. The total was around $60! The food was so not worth the price. And not one Asian working for a Korean fried chicken place…

I tried to overlook all the negative reviews and wanted to at least see it for myself and try korean fried chicken for the 1st time.
I notice that corporate responds to the negative reviews and promise to improve the operational issues. A long record of 6 months worth of review with no changes say a lot about this franchise.
I am very disappointed of the customer service and the food. Corporate needs to re-think and modernize the interior look. Everything looks so cheap and quick constructiom without any love and thoughts.
I ordered fried drumsticks, fries with 2 different spicy sauces to give them a shot.
I can give a "0" to taste and texture
Too hard to chew , tasted stale...
Both spicy sauces were very sweet. Not to my liking.
Fries were somewhat hard and not crispy. It seemed they were previously frozen and then fried.
It is just absurd the cashier focuses more on packaging the pick up orders than taking 1st the orders of the customers, so at least the kitchen can receive the ticket orders.
Kitchen staff is very slow.
It is also absurd to hear 20+ min wait for the order. They should have enough fried chicken in advance then keep them in a hot holding unit with hot lamps to be quick and bathe them with sauce per order. Similar to Popeyes.
To be honest, fried chicken from popeyes are much better than Bonchon. At least they are not soggy, overly fried, and hard to chew.
The franchise should analyze all of these operational issues. This location will not succeed as it is.
I will not come back here.
Customer service really sucks.
Many customers get frustrated on waiting while on line and the cashier takes forever to assist one customer.

I ordered my food for pick up . It was a little expensive but the food is absolutely amazing . I can't pronounce most of the items on the menu, but i knew what i was ordering . The portions were large . I order the tteokbokki , japchae ,pickled raddish , kimchi and fried chicken tenders with korean bbq sauce. The cole slaw was not that good . However the rest of the food was so good . The tteokbokki had a red creamy sauce and it was loaded with fish cakes veggies and melted cheese . I ordered a fried egg on both of my plates . I wish it was over easy and not done over well . Anyway the food was amazing will definitely go back .
