Awesome pastacinis!! Love this truck and the couple who run it. Waited a year for them to come back to my town in NJ. The pastacinis are basically a rice ball made from pasta. They come in different flavors. Do yourself a favor and try them, they are AWESOME!!!!

Been to the truck a couple times, the food is on the money and the chef is a gentleman. My wife is a vegetarian and he was very accommodating with the menu. I highly recommend this joint

I've been tryin to track this truck down for a year. Then low and behold it found me / days in a row at 2 different festivals. They menu was limited both days as I've seen delicious looking photos on yelp from other posts. I tried 3 if the arincinis. One was spinach and artichoke, salami prosciutto sopresta, ricotta grana padano. They were crispy tasty but greasy and heavy. I ate about 1/3 of each one and found the ricotta one was the most flavorful though my friends fav was the spinach. We all agreed they vodka sauce they come with didn't work but would be really good with a marina. If I run into this truck again and they gave different stuff on the menu I would definitely give it a try.

I was so happy to try Cheech A' Cini's yumminess today on Governor's Island! We split a portobello arugula mozzarella sandwich (heavenly) and a sausage, escarole, bean and garlic one. Phenomenal! The owners were so nice and friendly they gave us a complimentary Pastini (I think that's what it's called - basically a fried ball of mac-n-cheese). So grateful they were here today. Love their deliciousness!!

Fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced Italian-American comfort food with a creative twist. Pastacini -- kind of like rice balls but made with pasta and different fillings - are a very good snack, but the real star is the "Cheechsteak" -- steak, mushrooms, onions, pepperoncini & fontina cheese laid out on a chewy and fresh seeded roll. It's delicious and big enough for two.

If you haven't had a Cheech Steak, you are missing out! This is our go-to lunch spot for delicious, affordable and convenient food. Frank and Jamie are the most hospitable business owners out there, you can tell a lot of love goes into the food and service. When you eat at Cheech a Cini's, you are supporting a small business that cares about the community and sources their produce locally. I strongly recommend that you listen to your rumbling belly and head over to their food truck before they sell out.

YUM!! The cheesesteak sandwich and fried polenta were incredible! Their menu selection is a nice twist on the classic Italian dishes we usually have on the island. Definitely worth trying them out!
