Love the staff they're sweet and very accommodating
I’ve enjoyed our breakfast here with my mother and our friends we were here for the first time
Food was really good, my daughter bought me there for farthers day, service was very good, they gave us time to decide what to order, very nice atmosphere,no yelling or obnoxious conversations going on, very orderly, clean, good parking in a covered garage, they do catering and have nice rooms for affairs.
Delicious comfort food! Wide range of favorite menu choices, something for everyone. Really great coffee too. Service is excellent.
We went with a party of 15 after a burial at St Mary's. We had kids, vegans, and some very picky eaters. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Service was good, portions were large, food was fresh and tasty, and prices were reasonable. When we are next in the area we will return. You should try it.
Service was horrible, food was awful. Everyone was charged different prices (higher than the next table). The waiter said oh it’s only $2 more it’s no big deal. He was right $2 won’t make or break you but his attitude and delivery of what he said was terrible. The split pea soup had bits of Vienna sausage in it instead of ham. The burger tasted bad and I sent it back. Ordered a grilled cheese that was pure grease and the cheese wasn’t even melted. My friend ordered a fruit cup and all the fruit was hard and old looking. She obviously didn’t eat it and they did take that off the bill. The cashier was the most rude woman I’ve ever met with a nasty attitude.
My husband and I just got back from Long Island a very long 2hr drive and when we finally got to Staten Island we were starved so we decided to go to the colonnade diner . We were greeted by two nice woman at the desk and also “ Rob” who was so cheerful and sweet . Our waiter “ Brayan” such a cutie was so helpful in helping us decide what to eat he was very professional and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Thank you for hiring the right fit .
We enter this Diner like the ones you see on TV in American movies. Let's make friends with the very good waitress spoiled us in every possible and imaginable way. Breakfast delicious pancakes delicious and fluffy that say a really top breakfast. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a regular customer at this diner for about a year now, often bringing family and friends along. The wait staff is fantastic—always friendly, attentive, and helpful (definitely 5-star service). However, the experience falls apart when it comes to paying. The person handling the register, who I believe may be the owner’s daughter, delivers an incredibly cold and impersonal interaction. There’s no real sense of appreciation, and her "thank you" feels hollow, lacking any warmth or sincerity.
It’s unfortunate because I really enjoy the food and service, but this repeated cold treatment makes me feel like just another transaction, rather than a valued customer. It’s especially disheartening given how frequently I visit. The last time I was there, her dismissive tone was particularly dehumanizing. I’m now reconsidering whether I’ll continue dining here, and I’m actively looking for a place where the overall experience—including payment—is more welcoming.
