“Hands down one of the BEST delis on Staten Island! Definitely a great find out here. The environment is very clean and welcoming. The service is a 10/10 right along with their food! I absolutely adore the workers, they’re very nice and respectful and will accommodate with your needs/wants. If you need something that they don’t have in the store, they will get it for you and will be in the store the next time you visit. I asked for an ice pack and they didn’t have but believe the next 24 hours when i went back in there was the ice packs i were asking for! I LOVE THEM“

“Johns Deli is an all time favorite dating back to its days on Stilwell Avenue in Brooklyn. Consistently and reliably delicious hot roast beef sandwiches is what brings people coming back. The fried shrimp in the slightly spicy red sauce is amazing. Friendly and quick service make lunchtime a little bit better. “Today I ordered tuna hero it id delicious and plentiful also ordered homemade potato & macaroni salad. Last time it was Roast beef I can’t recall the time before but everything has been delicious. “Got the 41 smokin turkey situation x2 and it was one of the best sandwiches we ever had. My lil veggie friend even got made a special sommin with artistic license. The dude at the till was LOVELY and we hope he gets to holiday to England some day. Sadly the sandwiches won’t be as good as Mike’s though.

“I really love this deli! You would never know it's a hidden little treasure on the block. I've been eating here for 13 years ever since I started working neat by. The cook makes many different items all tasty. I happen to line the quesadilla here makes and also the Chicken wrap with swiss onions peppers and hot peppers......or just ask for the wrap Donny gets! The Staff is friendly as well. Very clean as well I've never once got sick or had any thing bad here and also makes an awesome breakfast!“

“Best sandwiches on the island, high quality and very affordable. Friendly staff that all speak multiple languages, very helpful. You don’t have to be polish to shop here for groceries and delicacies, they don’t mind translating or explaining their products.

I started coming here for the 9$ delicious sandwiches but slowly started buying the imported snacks and groceries. Everytime I’m in the area, I make it my business to stop here and grab some food.

I came to visit and we got the #54 on Friday and it was so great that he giggled while eating. Each ingredient would be outstanding on its own but combined…good Lord. We didn’t even talk to each other because we enjoyed eating our sandwich so much! The chicken was well seasoned, the barbecue sauce was unique, and the bread was absolutely perfect! Crispy and flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. We loved it so much that we went back today, two days later, for a #136, and we cannot wait to try all 150! The best part-the sandwich had just enough dressing to be not dry but not so much that it’s soggy. I can’t recommend the service and the food here enough!!!“
