Got the birria tacos and now I understand what the fuss is about: amazing. So rich! In fact all the tacos we have had were delish-- one son likes chorizo, one lengua (! teenagers!). Also loved the chewy homemade quesadillas. Plus the people are sweet.
Im originally from Brooklyn but move to staten island with my now husband every Sunday we drive to Sunset park for the infamous Tamales de mole (A mexican morning snack) that was until We found this hidden gem 5 min drive from us ? the food is delicious tasty and affordable no more driving to Sunset on Sundays ???♥️

I've seen businesses come and go at this location, so to my gastronimic detriment I didn't bother to try it. Boy was I wrong! This is quite possibly the best Mexican food I've had in New York!!! Having spent time in the Navy stationed in San Diego and visiting Mexico many times I grew to love this cuisine. I've had good Mexican food in NYC, but this place is special, everything on the menu is delicious! Highly recommended!
