El Dorado Restaurant Bar&Grill

Very disappointed. I ordered w small pernil and 95 percent of it was oily globs of fat. Not sure how they can give someone this. We threw it out.

This place is ran extremely unprofessional. I placed a large food order for a private event. When the food arrived the large rice and peas came soaking wet with water inside the tray. I called numerous times and was given a run around. When the manager contacted me hours later and the party was completely over they offered me a credit. When I attempted to use the credit they claimed nothing was in the system regarding credit. But they were able to see I spent $450 on a food order and nothing could have been done. I have ordered numerous times and feel they could have made the proper calls to attend to this issue. I do not recommend them for large food orders as you never know what you will get. Finally dealing with a business that does not know how to deal with issues when they arise is not a place I would ever want to deal with or would ever recommend to anyone.

Good food. I love the tostones they make., mofongo, oxtail and beef tripe are my favorite.

Wowwww!! I'm Colombian, and this place is spectacular! The food, the service, and the facilities. I recommend it 100%! The best option in this area. 😎

portions to stay very small and check you total at end charged for drink that wasn’t taken

I don’t tend to write negative reviews. But server needs some training on costumer service or maybe that’s not the right job for her. This restaurant will lose costumers if that change is not made.

The food is good but they need better employees who can engage with courtesy, I have ask a question about the pork , if it was cook well done and the guy behind the counter was acting fresh not in a proper manner.

I go here all the time. Only good Spanish restaurant in the area. I get their beef stew and pernil SO GOOD. Definitely recommend. Everything I’ve tried from there has been 10/10 so far

Out of all the spanish restaurants on Staten Island, El Dorado is the cheapest, and I don't mean price! They NEVER fill up their containers anytime I have ever bought from them. I mean, how much does it cost to make rice, yet they don't fill up the container. Other restaurants (on Forest av, Bay St, Richmind Rd) fill their containers so much they have to push the lid down to close the container. I spoke to the employees about this in the past, but they are still skimpy today. Unbelievable.

Two drumstick with white rice and 1 soda for 19.60… I never think it would cost me that much . I can buy two order in Queens for this price…

Me and my mom went to eat here and the service is great I don't know what happened but they food use to be real good today it was horrible the rice was hard the pork (pernil)meat was dry wasn't seasoned good the plantains were hard and when I receive them they were cold and there was flies flying around being annoying and I used to order from them all the time they even had another location on morningstar road and they food was good might be a new chef but get the old one back ASAP!!!!
