I usually order on uber eats from this spot for as I really enjoy their beef stew with rice and beans HOWEVER I needed to write this somewhere cause — the last two times I ordered avocado with my meal, they aren’t cutting it ! First few times I got a half & they sliced it , first time I ordered a whole side & literally got the whole uncut avocado. I then ordered a half again today since they only seemed to slice halves for you & I got an avocado just cut in half, not sliced. Again lol. When I first started ordering it, they had it sliced already & packed. I don’t know why all of a sudden I’m not receiving it already sliced & having to cut up my own avocado before I eat defeats the purpose of my food being ready to eat right when I get it. If someone ordered this to their job & worked behind a desk, where do you think they’re cutting an avocado ?? Very inconvenient. PLEASE CUT THE AVOCADOS 😒

I ate there today and I had the pernil they literally gave me the scraps from the bone and I knew they were gonna do that when they told me to sit down and I wanted to tell them I don’t want those scraps, it wasn’t even enjoyable! and I paid $20 for the plate and I said something when I checked out no response people pay good money to eat out they shouldn’t have to pay for crap they should always put out new and fresh

Very disappointed. I ordered w small pernil and 95 percent of it was oily globs of fat. Not sure how they can give someone this. We threw it out.

This place is ran extremely unprofessional. I placed a large food order for a private event. When the food arrived the large rice and peas came soaking wet with water inside the tray. I called numerous times and was given a run around. When the manager contacted me hours later and the party was completely over they offered me a credit. When I attempted to use the credit they claimed nothing was in the system regarding credit. But they were able to see I spent $450 on a food order and nothing could have been done. I have ordered numerous times and feel they could have made the proper calls to attend to this issue. I do not recommend them for large food orders as you never know what you will get. Finally dealing with a business that does not know how to deal with issues when they arise is not a place I would ever want to deal with or would ever recommend to anyone.

Good food. I love the tostones they make., mofongo, oxtail and beef tripe are my favorite.

I don’t tend to write negative reviews. But server needs some training on costumer service or maybe that’s not the right job for her. This restaurant will lose costumers if that change is not made.

The food is terrible and a lot of Hidden fees. Never again, Some of the staff were rude
