I have visited this restaurant quite a few times. I have never dined in. It is a small dining room but very comfortable and cozy. The food here is great and the service is outstanding. Great Portuguese BBQ without crossing the bridge to go to Elizabeth NJ.

Ive been here quite a few times and i always order the salmon and its good but today, I ordered the garlic chicken and was very disappointed not only with the chicken but with the service as well. As you can see the photo, the chicken is a soupy, foamy, mess- boiled and rubbery. When i called to ask them to exchange it for their bbq chicken , they said they couldn't do that and I paid 45$ for 2 entrees and one of them went in the garbage.

I placed an order for delivery. I ordered chicken tenders and what I received were chicken nuggets. I used to love Forest BBQ but the last couple of times that I had it, the chicken was either VERY salty or had a ridiculous amount of garlic to the point that it burnsl. This specific time it was so salty that I could not even eat it. The fries were soggy & greasy and the plantains were so mushy that it was gross. I continued to give them a chance since it used to be so good. But now I'm done! I won't be ordering from them again.

I never even went to this place, yet Google has followed me because I was asking for a directions. Talk about Big brother watching you. Or I can say is that the place looks good but I have never been there inside.
I am concerned that Google tracks me and then asks for reviews for places that I need directions to.

The driest food I've ever had in my life! The chicken and ribs combo was such a let down. Both the chicken and ribs was like eating sand...I've never had bbq ribs or chicken come dry, no seasoning no sauce no taste....from a bbq place without asking for it specifically. Will not be back..

Horrible beef ribs were old and over cooked. Order was incomplete and chicken smelled like fish. Called and the owner refused to understand what I was saying worst $105.00 I ever spent. Never again!

I went to over 20 places for BBQ chicken I never saw the way they cook The have to rotating racks in top of each other - they have the uncooked rotating chicken rack in the top of almost cooked chicken and ribs Fluids from uncooked chickens drips over ready to eat food I doubt it, if any one in the place has a Foodprotection license
