Just lost a loyal customer. I called to order French Fries with ketchup and the man over the phone said $1 extra. I said “For Whatc? Are you serious ?” And he replied rude you want it or not. You don’t have to ever worry about me EVER giving my money to these people and this hole in a wall that looks down on their customers and people in the neighborhood.

I've been ordering from here for the longest. Knew the former family who ran it, and they were heavily involved within the community and with their customers. Since transfer to this current ownership, I've watched the service and quality plummet. It's just unfortunate how people are being fearmongered into tipping by someone who won't even thank you post tip. Or being blantantly gaslit for any wrong orders or mistakes on their part. This went from a family run business with a lot of spirit and love, to what it is today. Definitely need to cut ties with this place, it is not the same. We all miss the old Goldenstar.

I used to love this Chinese restaurant. I will not be back. Short grain fried rice, oh no. Boneless ribs, no flavor. As much as I paid for it, I threw it in the garbage.

The food is nasty and the woman who answer the phone is very rude. They will consistently bring the wrong order and argue with you when they mess your order up. Don’t waste your money. I wish the Chinese restaurant that used to be next to the Waldbaum would come back because this restaurant completely suck. Just getting more worse.

The service sucks . The women that takes the orders is extremely rude and disrespectful. I also had ordered food for delivery and half my order was missing and I called to get my order and they kept hanging up the phone and I paid money for nothing . Extremely unsatisfied , disgusting

I've been ordering frm here for over 20 yrs. Even tho I moved back to bklyn still get take out to bring home when im on SI. Food was excellent. Not so much today. Pork ends were dry & tasted old & stale & the lo mein was just inedible. Disgusing taste.Threw it all out. Shoulda just lit $20 on fire at least I coulda watched it burn. ?

Whenever I’m in Staten Island. By far the worst Chinese food to get delivery from. The Asian man that delivers is so rude and lazy. I give a tips and no thank you and when I don’t he mumbles under his breathe something disrespectful. Food isn’t bad I just recommend going into the actual shop and dealing with the ladies. The delivery guys harass you for a tip. Don’t deliver to u. Give it to u in the car. Call u 5 mins before they actual arrive. If u want good Chinese food with actual nice people I would suggest “lion dance “ “no 1 Chinese restaurant “and “jac mao”.
