This place is a diamond in the rough on Staten Island and has reignited my love for empanadas. With this place, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner just with the empanadas alone. Everyone who I have suggested this place to were amazed with the taste and quality of the food. My favorite empanada is the egg salad one. Who would have thought to put egg salad in an empanada? ?? Please support small businesses such as this, otherwise society would crumble to the standards of typical fast food chains.

I have been looking for a spot with delicious empanadas. This place is my new favorite spot. The empanadas were big with both flavor and stuffed with meat. I ordered the beef stew empanadas... wow is all I have to say. I also ordered the Morir Sonando drink so good. The prices are great and I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work Jelisa's Cafe.

LOVE their empanadas So many different choices of fillings They were put of the Bolas de Platano so they called and asked if I wanted a substitute or the $5 back I opted for a dessert substitute I dont know what they were called.but.they were.coconutty delishness Reminded me of a macaroon Soo good

Food is very good. First time there. Had gondules and yellow rice and a beef empanada. All excellent. The ex wife was Dominican, and I miss her cooking. Jelisa's tatedAlmost as good
Omg!! Best Empanadas ever. My Favorite are Shrimps and Pastelon. The place is super clean and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Stick to the Spanish food it’s good. I got french flash here and it wasn’t cooked right it was soggy & not good at all. But apart from that the coffee & food isn’t bad at all.
