This place is a diamond in the rough on Staten Island and has reignited my love for empanadas. With this place, you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner just with the empanadas alone. I have been looking for a spot with delicious empanadas. This place is my new favorite spot. The empanadas were big with both flavor and stuffed with meat. I ordered the beef stew empanadas... wow is all I have to say. I also ordered the Morir Sonando drink so good. The prices are great and I highly recommend this place. Keep up the great work Jelisa's Cafe.
LOVE their empanadas So many different choices of fillings They were put of the Bolas de Platano so they called and asked if I wanted a substitute or the $5 back I opted for a dessert substitute I dont know what they were called.but.they were.coconutty delishness Reminded me of a macaroon Soo good
