THIS IS THE BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO, THIER FOOD IS OUT OF THIS WORLD, IT CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER!!! IT'S GOOD THAT I'M LEARNING MEXICAN SPANISH, I DO WANT TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO ONE DAY AND LEARN HOW TO COOK THIER FOOD!! I LOVE THE MEXICAN CULTURE SOOOOO MUCH!!!

We were visiting for the BikeNYC tour and stopped here and was not disappointed. Excellent food and great friendly service. Food came out quick so we had another drink for dessert. Excellent!

We had the best meal at La Fortuna!!! This place is SO worth the trip, whether you’re coming from New York City, New Jersey, or just nearby. A fresh, hot basket of tortilla chips and delicious homemade salsa verde greet you once you sit down. Their al pastor tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had, and we got huge portions of tender grilled steak smothered in onions and peppers, garlicky grilled shrimp, and sizzling fajitas. The food comes out fast, hot, and you can tell it is made with care. We were served by Ines, and she was the sweetest! She took such good care of us, and everyone there made us feel so welcome. We felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem for some of the best Mexican food around!

Authentic, delicious Mexican food. We came for lunch and both had tacos which were incredible. Felt like I was in Mexico City. Very good in house chips and salsa verde. Their hot sauce is incredible too. Our waitress was super friendly and put up with my very poor Spanish lol. I will definitely be back.

Everything here is SO FRESH. I came here with my family of 5 and all of our dishes were extraordinary. Everything came out piping hot and very delicious. We ordered the guacamole, shrimp with garlic sauce, mixed fajitas, chicken burritos and breaded chicken and breaded fish filet. The hot, fresh churros with chocolate sauce at the end were absolutely melt-in-your-mouth divine. We would definitely come here again. 5 stars!
