The reviews did not disappoint. Wow, this food was authentic and very tasty. Took a while to cook but I saw that as a good thing! Very close to home so I will be making this a regular visit. Got beer as well and most random items you never know when you might need in a pinch.

I've seen businesses come and go at this location, so to my gastronimic detriment I didn't bother to try it. Boy was I wrong! This is quite possibly the best Mexican food I've had in New York!!! Having spent time in the Navy stationed in San Diego and visiting Mexico many times I grew to love this cuisine. I've had good Mexican food in NYC, but this place is special, everything on the menu is delicious! Highly recommended!

We went to La Plaza a few weeks ago and have been recommending it to everyone since. My family of three all had different tacos and all were so delicious and fresh! Staff is friendly and accommodating (we left with new hot sauces and tamarind treats that we’d never tried before), restaurant is clean and STOCKED. I’d recommend making this your new lunch spot!
