This place has the best Mexican food quesadillas and fajitas are delicious. Great burgers and specials. Service is also top-notch and the workers are always very friendly. I always enjoy eating there

The food is good. The atmosphere is nice. It's a college town so you're going to get a mixed crowd of college kids and families. I don't think you'll be disappointed either way

Edit 2025- this has become my “go to place” for Mexican, the enchiladas and burritos are delicious. Good cocktails and live music on Wednesdays.

Walked in and we were greeted by a friendly waitress and told us to sit wherever we liked. We were given a complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered tortilla soup, mixed grilled fajitas, soft shell tacos and Mexican fried rice. It was very delicious. The waitress was very attentive and made our dining experience very enjoyable. We also ordered a pinacolada and a a passion fruit margarita. We will definitely go back.

I had an amazing experience at Mexican Cantina Restaurant & Bar! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The music was fantastic, it added so much energy and really set the perfect mood for the night.

The service was just as impressive. The bartender was super friendly and made delicious drinks with real skill, and our waitress was incredibly kind and professional. You could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time.

Overall, everything down to the food, the music, the service was spot on. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

How can a restaurant make you pay for tips automatically during the check. Waitress barely came to see if i was okay but i have to tip $25?? To the owner? Pay your workers better so they don’t have to rely on tips :)

this is the best martini and burger i have had in a long time. the ambiance was perfect for intimate conversation and the music was a gorgeous blend of 90s grunge and singer songwriters that matter. my only regret is i did not try the fajitas!
