My slices were amazing. The quality of the cheese is stretchy and rich with flavor. The tomato sauce is seasoned perfectly. The crust and foundation was perfectly crisp. The ratio of the cheese and sauce is perfect. I highly reccomend this pizza. It’s a lot better than pier their pizza is way too thin for me. I prefer this pizza spot in this area over the rest. I enjoyed a plain and an all white slice they were both amazing!

The pizza here is very good. And the owner is nice and friendly. However, this place could use better business practices. He's sometimes a little too laid back and it costs him a lot of potential business. If not for those issues, this place would get a 4 or 5 star rating from me.
They sometimes just close early or don't open at all. I don't think they've been open at all in the past couple of weeks. They're probably just gearing up to close down and sell the place. It's too bad because their pizza is the best in the area. I wish the owner well and hope that if this isn't the end of MVP, that he succeed. He's a cool guy.

Pizza was too salty to eat and they advertised to be open at 2:00 p.m. and they said that they wouldn't actually open the doors to the public until 3:00 or 3:30 which I personally feel was a bad business practice
the best pizza

Ordered a couple of slices to go more than once. While I can't comment on their other offerings, this place makes a solid slice. Had a plain and a pepperoni. They had those cup like pepperoni too. Thin, greasy, full of flavor, and sizable, I loved every bite.
If I had to compare it with anything, I think it'd be Pier 76's slice. Both have that real thin crust.
The place is small, reminiscent of the 'hole in the wall' style pizzaria, but there is some seating, including outdoors. Street parking is a roll of the dice, although there is a paid lot just a few minutes walk away.
There's two pizza guys there, pretty friendly and accommodating. Let them know if you want some garlic powder, red pepper, whatever before they pack up your to go order.
Two slices and a can of soda ran me about $10. You save a little bit with cash instead of card. Bit stiff but I don't eat this stuff everyday.
I don't know where MVP ranks on the islands top list of pizzaria but I'd feel safe recommending it to anyone that wants a solid slice of NY pizza.
Vegetarian options: It's pizza. Cheese, bread, tomatoes. Stick to a plain slice and voila, vegetarian.

By far the best pizza I’ve had in Staten Island. The price was really affordable, the pizza I got the pepperoni was really flavorful and juicy. There buffalo chicken slice was also very good. My two favorite slices.
