Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner! Food is amazing- I ordered the steak medium rare and instead of truffle fries, got regular fries per my request. The steak was good size and very juicy. The sauce and greens gave it an amazing kick to it. The only thing I didn’t like much is the fact they don’t have natural juices. But other than that, the whole experience was beyond expectations.

The restaurant serves variety of food. The menu prices are varied and reasonable. This restaurant is a nice place to visit on weekends with families and friends. The view from the restaurant deck is magnificent, and overlooking New York City skyscrapers buildings downtown New York City. Also the View of the East and South Seaport is visible from the restaurant deck.

I had such a great experience at River Dock Cafe thanks to our amazing waitress, Aika! She was warm, friendly, and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. She made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to give recommendations from the menu. Her kind attitude and professionalism really stood out , she made our meal even more enjoyable. I come here quite often with my wife and daughter because the food is good, nice view and also very respectful friendly service. We always look for Aigerim waitress every time we visit because my daughter loves her energy and she is very picky with people. She knows how to communicate with kids and adults included 😄 Always keeps high energy and always welcomes customers with smile. Good food starts from good mood because if someone leaves bad vibes then brings your food I highly doubt you gonna like the food even if it was cooked perfectly. So good welcoming staff and beautiful view is like appetizer for us before main meal ,sets the tone

If I could give -20 stars, I would do it. This place is at the bottom of the restaurant food chain. The food is the food is bad and overpriced for the quality, the vibe is dictated by a bunch of drunks at the bar, the service (beside being inexistent) is provided by a bunch of people that they looks depressed, like they know that outside of this place they would never find another place willing to hire them. I wonder who manage such a lost cause.
Strategically located restaurant at the Staten Island harbour, as soon as you get down the boat. Pretty big place with nicely done interiors and a fantastic outdoor place with a great view of NYC and Statue of Liberty. It was raining though when we went so we sat inside. Service was great with our server being an elderly looking gentleman who was warm and prompt in service. Food was fantastic and the beer was good. Found it quite expensive though, may be owing to the location. Overall a good experience and the only reason for giving an overall rating of 4 was the prices which we felt were quite on the higher side!!

The server stopped me on the way out in front of my child because he was not happy with the tip provided after spending over 100$. He proceeded to ask me where I was from as to scam me into whatever tip he suggests. As a single mom I am very disappointed in this particular gentleman and hope that no one else experiences this kind of embarrassment.

Fantastic experience. Perfect place to dine out after a cruise. After shopping in Downtown Manhattan, we caught the ferry to Staten Island to have dinner here.You get some nice views of NYC.
Very friendly staff. Place is cozy and casual with loads of indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of food options including vegetarian. Simple and wholesome food is also well priced.
