On the waterfront, next to the ballpark, attached to the Empire Outlet parking lot is a fabulous Taiwanese bakery. Portions are individually wrapped and beautifully executed and absolutely delicious. I had green tea for the first time there this week and I’m reeling everyone to go. Fantastic drink for the fast ferry ride. Yum.
Conveniently located steps away from the St George ferry terminal at the Empire Outlets on Staten Island, is a Bake Culture shop. There are cabinets of sweet and savory baked goods along the left wall, and a back counter to order drinks. I picked up a garlic hot dog bun and a red bean danish. Both were so good, and only a few bucks, I wish I had grabbed a couple more to try later. For a large store, there aren't many tables, but to be honest, the clean open vibe was nice. The bread here is insanely good and different. I bought one with hot dog and cheese and my wife one with condensed milk. They have a lot of different bubble teas. The prices were excellent!
