This is a nice place for Sri Lankan groceries and Sri Lankan foods.We took it out, Friday Special rice and curry and vegetable fried rice. Had the authentic Sri Lankan tastes on those dishes.Welcoming staff and nice people too.

A few weeks ago I placed an order through an online delivery service. I got a confirmation notification, followed a while later with an update stating the driver was on the way to pick up the order. 30 minutes later I received another notification stating the restaurant had canceled my order because they were closing! What!!?? After already waiting over half an hour!Today I decided I would give them a second chance, I placed an order around 6:15 for 5 items only to receive a call informing me that 4 of the 5 items were not available!!I will not be trying a third time.

Sagara food city has some of the best Sri Lankan food at a great price. The food was very flavorful and balanced. The customer service is also very good. We will definitely go there again and order more items off their menu.

One of the best locations for Sri Lankan groceries and food. The owners are friendly and helpful. Everything I have ordered from here tasted so good! I highly recommend. The seafood Nasi Goreng is delicious!

They have a somewhat a moderate collection of commonly used/ required uncooked/raw foods used for Sri Lankan kitchens. Mostly the prices are the same as seen with competitors in Victory Blvd.They do provided cooked food for orders. Haven’t seen tables lately to have the food!Parking is an issue indeed.Room for improvement.
Ate twice from this place, got food poisoning both times, worst south Indian restaurant,Unhygienic, slow, over charging, over priced, never going there again.

Being from Chennai, I've always loved kothu parotta. I've known it is famous in Sri Lanka, but never had the chance to taste it as part of Sri Lankan cuisine until now. The Cheese Kothu was great. The owner of the store was a nice person who loves sharing his story and was very kind enough to make sure we like what we're eating and suggested different sides. They also had many srilankan groceries that were worth learning and browsing.The journey to Staten Island was long and Staten Island looks very deserted and weird but the food was worth it.
