I’ve been coming here to eat since 2004 and the food is always tasty, if you want to eat a little taste of Mexico’s Authentic Tacos this is the best spot on this side of the island. Don’t expect a red carpet type of welcoming, depending of the hour of the day this place gets so busy, there’s no time for them to give you their fullest attention to describe each thing on the menu. If you want to eat inside the taco spot there’s no waiter or hostess. Order up front, eat then pay.

Taqueria El Gallo Azteca was an absolute gem in our New York dining experience. The food was unbelievably good, surpassing all our expectations. The owner's warm and kind demeanor added a personal touch to the meal, making us feel right at home. The tacos were simply fantastic. Out of all the places we visited in New York, this is the one we'd love to return to without a doubt. It's a must-visit for anyone craving exceptional Mexican cuisine.

Very good food, the Azteca tacos are very delicious, only if you order delivery you have to wait about an hour but I recommend it ?

Amazing tacos!!! So good. Skip the steak and chicken and go for the spicy :) you won’t be disappointed. Not many tables inside, so I recommend to order to go. Cash only.
