I’m sad to write this review as I loved this spot. Portions were huge, food tastes great, and the staff very nice. Unfortunately I have to give this bad review because of what I saw with my own eyes last time. I saw the cook cut into pieces a whole raw chicken and then proceed to cook my food. He grabbed everything with that hand and didn’t even wash the cutting board that he cut the chicken on so everybody after would be getting raw chicken in their food. I always wished that they were cleaner but I could tolerate it because the food tasted great. However, after seeing that scene unfold in front of my eyes I honestly cannot eat here any more. The man was touching everything with his unwashed raw chicken hands.. the meat.. the veggies.. the toppings. That can give someone salmonella or food poisoning. I’m sad that I cannot eat here anymore because I really loved the food, the price that I paid for the food and the staff.- el gringo

Cute little hole in the wall place- the huitlacoche quesadilla, huevos rancheros and coffee were all delicious and cheap with big portions.

The best place for a good, mad, delicious quesadilla. You must try the quesadilla flor de calabaza (flower pumkin). Ask the chef to fill it with all the trimmings. Mmmmmm good. I recommend this

There was a leak from the ceiling, trash stacked up to the waist next to the grill, crumbs all over the counter, bones in almost ever bite and the thing that made me feel most genuinely loved was the hair in my food.

Best tacos out there especially after 10 PM into the late night this is the spot! The options are great but I usually have to ask what's available, my favorite is the Barbacoa & Buche, Saudero & they have a great selection on Modelo micheladas, and other Mexican imports, the snacks hit the spot and the vibes are chill. The wait time is a while but it's also one person making all the orders, it's quality and worth every minute. I suggest ordering ahead of time if you're definitely trying to cut the wait time

I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve never ordered anything I didn’t like. Every person I’ve ever brought here has returned with or without me, sometimes even the next day! There may be a bit of a wait but it’s ALWAYS worth it. I highly recommend the Birria tacos and the quesadillas de cecina

Handmade heaven!!! ??? Quesadilla de bistec with the works ( lettuce, sour cream, avocado) is THE way to go! Introverts beware, though; you may need to be assertive and speak up to order, don't expect a "may I help you." Don't worry, you could wash your anxiety down with a variety selection of Mexican beers while you wait, definitely worth it. ???
