We were so excited and happy about this cake, it was beautiful, original and absolutely delicious. We got the vannilla fudge on the inside and it was so good. The cake was beautiful and really was the center peice of the party. I highly recommend and will call again for all future cakes. Thank you !!!!!

I ordered a cake for my son’s 1st Birthday and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Everyone at the party could not stop taking about it. It was exactly what I had given as an inspiration photo. I can’t wait for my next event!

We have The Sweet Life delectables at every family function…as a matter of fact I was demanded to grab some cream puffs to go for my husband! Everything alway fresh & delicious! 🍪🧁🍩🍰❤️

The cream puffs were a delectable treat and were the hit of our dessert display!! We had an entire box and they all went! This is a treasure for SI and a must go to for your bakery and dessert needs. You can feel the love and family reflected in Grace's fabulous display of not only generational recipes but tasty creations.

A family member brought over some cream puffs yesterday. They were delicious. Highly recommend.

I ordered a cake for my babys 1st birthday. It looked exactly as in the picture that i showed to grace and was delicious. Im impressed✨ this will be my go to place for every birthday!

This is my go to after St. Theresa mass. I can sit, have a delicious coffee and enjoy an even better donut, sometimes a pastry. I special ordered my birthday cake and it was delicious!!! Many compliments were received with inquiries as to where I got it. Highly recommended!!!

The store was cute and I ate a rainbow cookie and cream puff. They were tasty. But here is the problem, I got an Oreo cake for a birthday with my family. The cake was absolutely terrible. I could not imagine that something that looked so tasty could be so the opposite. The frosting was practically tasteless and it was mostly made of frosting. The frosting overpowered everything and there wasn’t much else.
There were seven of us in total, all in agreement about the disaster of the cake. At the end of the night I got the hose to spray out the mess-since the abandoned slices spread all over the table as people kept trying to figure out what was in it. The frosting would not wash out and inside the kitchen it was really difficult to remove it. It that stuck to everything and would not was out without intense cleaning. It appeared to be waterproof.

I am still curious as to what ingredients were in it.
I am bothering to write this review because it was such a disappointment on what was a special occasion with my family.

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s engagement dinner from this bakery and it was the hit of the party!! If I could give it more stars I would. It was gorgeous on the outside and the inside was the amazing !!!!

We (me and my wife) get breakfast there at least one day on the weekends. The pastries and coffee are always fresh and delicious. A huge difference to us

A friend of mine ordered a cake from here and it was decorated beautifully and tasted amazing. We went for coffee and breakfast everything was so delicious. The biggest compliment I have is the gluten-free cookies. Taste one of those cookies and you can never tell they are gluten-free….it’s impossible. The most delicious I’ve ever tasted great job!! I would definitely tell you to visit and enjoy the atmosphere…see what you think..

I ordered a custom cake a few weeks ago and had to delay the pickup due to cancellations of the event due to sickness and other unforeseen pop-up issues with my guests. The lady who took my order (I think the owner?) was initially understanding and held my cake in the freezer. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my event for the second time and asked her to please try to sell the cake and take off the writing (I just ordered a plan white cake!)

I felt some pressure for her to buy the cake anyway, but I expressed that we are only two people and I really didn't want a cake for 20 people without the event. I apologised many times, but since this is a CAKE SHOP, I figured a beautifully, vintage piped white cake would have no problem selling!

She then told me it's going in the garbage, I wasted her time, she should've made me pay up front, and that's what she gets for accommodating me.

However, I am in the food business too, and I know these things happen. Her attitude was very baffling and unexpected.

In any case, I will not be returning here again!

We made a quick stop here for a treat on our long drive back to Virginia. The coffee and pastries/desserts are fantastic but the people and service there is what stands out even more. Wishing them a lifetime of success because they sure do it with love.

I don’t usually leave reviews but when I do I make sure that I go out of my way to give them the highest ratings. I just left the store. I got chocolate bread and some delicious goodies! As soon as I got home I tried the chocolate bread. Oh my oh my, it was sooooo good that I almost finished the whole loaf. I had to control myself. I thought Royal Crown has the best Chocolate bread, boy I was wrong after trying sweet life’s!
Kudos to the baker!!! Not sure what you put in there, it’s delicious!
Everything at this store are sooo friggin good and prices are affordable!
