Everything you see that I posted DELICIOUS!! The rice buttery soft...Meats, salad, rice, appetizer were all on point! Ended up going to TRUVA restaurant in Astoria 3 days later cause its closer to me and was suggested by my waiter. Not the same menu but just as delicious.. TRY BOTH!!!

Tonight was a celebration for my best friend’s 64 birthday. Zara’s (Hyland Blvd.) is my favorite place to dine and wanted to share it on this special occasion. Topra the Manager, suggested appetizers, entrees and the wine…we were in excellent hands. Needless to say the entire dining experience from the moment we step through the doors was an experience that left us feeling special. The ambiance, the service, the food, the decor…simply wonderful. Thank you Topra, the Waitstaff and the Chef (compliments).

We have been the guests of this cafe for several years. Amazing food and service. Toprak, the manager of the establishment, is very accommodating and professional. Always happy to gather with family in Zara and enjoy delicious Turkish cuisine!

Food was decent. Chicken kebabs are dry. We had to wait 25 mins just for the waiter to give us water and when they did it was lukewarm water. Gave us bread before the entrees and had to ask and wait another 15 mins for the olive oil for the bread. Again, had to ask and wait 10 mins for the white and hot sauce to come. 3 mixed grills and not a single container of white sauce given until we asked. Refilled our water only once the entire time at the very end of dinner, again after asking. Horrible service
