Had reservations and we were seating in a timely manner. Had such a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything came out perfectly. This used to be my favorite restaurant. I will not be back after my last two experiences. Both times, arrived there at 6:30pm and they were out of prime rib. My husband ordered NYS Strip for 2nd choice and were told they were out of that as well. This was after we walked into the restaurant to find it was totally empty and the bartender telling us it had been slow all day long. We stopped into the Hideaway today for lunch. Not having been there for many years, we weren’t sure about what to expect. The rugged exterior turned out to be quite misleading.
We were greeted by Nancy and seated in an attractive dining room complete with linen table cloths and fabric napkins. Lovely decor graced the dining room and after we were seated, I visited the restroom which was clean and nicely decorated.
