“One of my favorite restaurants! Every course offers great choices. Our daughter is vegan and there is always one or 2 options available for her, as well. The fish and meat are always accompanied by flavorful, interesting vegetables and starches. The wine options are plentiful. The decor is both attractive and comfortable with tables distanced for personal space. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well established. Really nice dining experience.“

“I had my husband's 40th birthday at Shanahan's and everything was amazing. Deana was great to work with in terms of setting up the party and planning the menu. She was super helpful and answered all my questions throughout the process. The day of the party the space was set up and ready when I got there and Deana helped me put out the decorations and balloons before the guests arrived. Deana and her staff were friendly and attentive the entire time during the party. The food was delicious and plentiful for the party size. I would highly recommend having a party here. It was such a great evening and everyone enjoyed themselves.“
“We stumbled across this place while waiting for our ferry during a New England road trip. Upon seeing prices that looked like they were from a bygone era (it's not just the lobster), we had quite a few items from their eclectic menu. Everything was made to order and our food was delivered much more quickly than the average fast-food joint by a server who treated us like old friends. The atmosphere is unpretentious and super chill - perfect for sports fans looking to hang out alone or with friends. It's a must-visit place if you're passing through the area for any reason.“
“Went to Katie's of Smithtown about a month or so ago to see my cousins boyfriends band. The place is really tiny, and the stage took up a good chunk of the room. They had Guinness and maybe one other beer I recognized but other than that there were newer beers. At least new to me. The service was good. Even though it was crowded with for the band, the bartenders got my beer out in just a few minutes. The bathrooms were at the other side of the stage, and the woman's bathroom was tucked back almost behind the stage, which was a bit annoying to get to“
“There are a lot of great things about this place. For starters, the owner, Jackie, usually welcomes you at the door. On quiet evenings, she'll even ask you where you'd like to sit. If you've been there a couple of times, she may even remember which wine you ordered last visit. You can casually sit at the bar or on the leather couches and graze on cheese or meat boards while sipping on one of the many wonderful wine options served here. Jackie travels aboard to define and complement the restaurant's vast collection. If you're having dinner, the burrata appetizer and the tuna dinner are both amazing. Tables are spaced for privacy and you are never rushed. A great local option!“
“I came here with one of my church friends and one of my guy friends that I've been friends with for about 14 years now. I don't drink alcohol but my one friend loves breweries so I go with him to visit them sometimes. I love most of the breweries I go to.They didn't have a non alcoholic beer for me to try but they made me a mocktail which was pretty good. My church friend had wine and my other friend was the one who got the beers. The service was as attentive as it could be for a crowded Saturday night, it was still good.The place is small, but it has more of a classier, upscalish decor than other breweries I've gone to.They didn't serve food just chips but they allowed you to order food from nearby restaurants and delis and have them bought in which is nice. I wish breweries served more food but I'm learning they don't really serve much food. Some of them have food trucks nearby.I liked this brewery and had a good time there.“
“So— this place has me perplexed. I feel like John Taffer needs to come here and haul this place and make it what it’s worth. The first thing I asked for when I sat at the bar was a drink menu. The bartender did a ??♀️??♀️we don’t have one? Idk I’d think a bar on one of the most famous Long Island lakes would be a little more high end. The landscaping and overall care of the building is lacking. Rocks everywhere / Old chairs and cushions kinda thrown in the corner and dirty. Despite many signs asking smokers (and I’m a smoker) to use receptacles. There were cigarette butts lodged in between the deck boards outside. This place has SO MUCH potential. The beach view is beautiful and the set up for the band outside looked really nice m- but we were leaving then. The bathrooms were also filthy. The bartender made me a nice drink, good amount of alcohol and around 10 bucks.But come ON guys. You have so much potential for that place.Overall I would return because of the view and the staff were nice.“

“This was the best first visit at any local bar I have ever had. We were skeptical as this was a small discreet location. The staff and clientele were absolutely wonderful. It was almost comical that they have a sign on the outside about coming there as strangers and leaving as friends but that is exactly the way we felt. Not only did everyone in there seem like they knew each other they quickly scooped us up and included us in everything that was going on. They don't have food but a very nice arrangement with the local businesses so you can have anything you want quickly delivered. They even have private menus just for their establishment. We will 100% be back.“
“I took my wife here for our 21st anniversary today and had a late lunch/early dinner. I don't have enough nice things to say about our experience. The food was arguably the best we've had in a long time. I had Chicken Parm with Penne and she had Broiled Shrimp with Asparagus Ravioli. “Intrigued by the signs in the windows exclaiming the benefits of kava, my friend and I strolled into the wonderful world of this non alcoholic bar. Being virgins to this root, we asked for guidance on what to order. This kava is supposed to have the relaxing, mellowing effects of say, Marijuana or even alcohol, but without the detriments that come with those. The young lady suggested a cold kava drink in a coconut cold mug with a slice of pineapple. There's a single, double or triple. She said it's suggested to start high and get the product built up in your system, then go down to single whilst in maintenence mode. We went with the double. We watched her spoon a large spoonful of what looked like, as another patron said, dirty water into our coconut cups! And garnished this dirty water with a pineapple. Bon Appétit! Well I have to say upon the first sip, I was waiting to be repulsed, but it actually didn't have much of a taste. As I got closer to the bottom of the cup, however, I got more flavor.. it was definitely a muddy, earthy flavor. I loved it I have to say. My friend was not a fan. Ha! I guess it's an acquired taste. The atmosphere was very chill. Seems an eclectic crowd. Young, old, parents, singles, white and.. well (us two) black! It was a cool decor. They have board games you can play. Seems a great place to chill alone with a book or laptop. It was dog friendly as well. I think if i lived here, I'd probably be a regular very quickly. Kudos!“

“Good here is generally that of the home made kind. Everything from the burgers wings and sauces are homemade. This place is famous and popular due to its wings, burgers and beers. Awesome dive bar that is highly recommended if you want to hang with friends,listen to good music,eat great food and just unwind in one of the last dive bars around.Parking: Sometimes you aren’t allowed to park back if there is an issue with the towing company for that particular lot. Generally there is more than enough parking on the street the next bank of parking the street over which is literally 60 feet away.Wheelchair accessibility: Around back not the front entrance.“
