“As an Italian raised kid who has always stayed loyal to a pizzeria I would take a slice from D’matteos any time and day. There is a beautiful combination of ingredients that allows for the ability to make a crispy or soft slice depending on your preference, and most importantly the selection of toppings is unmatched and the quality of them is of the highest. Also, the balancing of the toppings is perfect to ensure you don’t feel too full to get through a slice but it also isn’t too little to where you don’t feel satisfied after eating. The Italian authenticity is exquisite and I will absolutely continue to support this family run pizzeria.“

The server was great but they didn't have enough staff. and she was doing her best. I have ordered there multiple times but will def give going into the place another shot.“

“I had been searching for a Nathan's hot dog vendor in Suffolk. By accident, I happened upon Pudgie's in Selden.It was nearly noon & I was hungry. Sceptically i looked around after entering. Nothing seemed ready. i ordered two plain dogs, a small fries & an orange soda. 5-6 minutes the counter girl said..$9.75. What? So cheap??. There was a tip jar on the counter. It had been primed with two bucks. A sign on the wall discouraged eating in the shop. 6 minutes later a bell dinged. She brought my bag of food. I paid. I threw three bucks in the tip jar. I went to my car. I had 15 minutes to dine. I opened the bag in my 350z. French fries were on top & the looked like genuine Nathan's fries. I took one out & crammed it into my mouth...it was the best Nathan's French Fry I'd ever had! hot, crispy, not greasy.. I devoured them, but there were more, many more... but where are the hot dogs? i checked my receipt.. two orders of Nathan's Fries& an orange soda. No wonder it was so cheap. What to do? I have no time to wait while they cook my hot dogs. Curses! but aren't these Fries great! I will return...“

“I kinda stumbled upon Monster Chicken by accident as I was going elsewhere to eat. I couldn't help but notice the ad on the window for "8 takoyaki for $9", I knew I had to try it. I have had many takoyaki, this one is the one. The crust is lightly crisp and soft while the inside is buttery, soft, and ginger forward. They add a generous amount of perfectly cooked octopus into each of these making them quite meaty. The sauce drizzled over top is salty, sweet, and creamy; and the bonito flakes add some nice fishy umami. It's served over a bed of chopped iceberg lettuce which helps freshen things up in between due to the richness of the takoyaki. I also tried some of their drinks. Namely the pink istellar ~ a peach lychee drink, sweet, fruity, and refreshing as well as the brown sugar fresh milk ~ also sweet, but indulgent, and VERY creamy. Though I have yet to try their chicken, the items I've had so far are hits! I'll definitely come back for more.“
