I come here every day.

The staff here is phenomenal. I’ve worked at SB HSC for almost 2 years now and the staff is full of familiar faces.

This location is in a hospital lobby so you might want to consider checking the wait time and ordering ahead on the app. It can either be very busy or not busy at all depending on time. Mostly shift changes etc…

Beverage quality is phenomenal. The baristas here are really good. If you’re a regular they won’t forget you.

I hate to complain but almost every single time I come to this Starbucks (or the one in Melville at the university for that matter) my order is wrong. It's a simple venti iced matcha latte with no classic sub vanilla. The training here must not cover matcha lattes or the beverage routine as my venti's are made with 6 scoops of matcha and half the cup is foam. Today was ridiculous, I watched the barista put two scoops of matcha and 6 shots of vanilla in my drink. I'm a barista at a store upstate as well as an SBU student and it really hurts my heart to constantly receive an incorrect drink. I never go back to fix it and like to be extra grateful on the rare occasion I get a correct drink but it's come to a point that I've wasted too much money to let it slide. From one barista to another, please remember that the matcha's are made differently! And put the ice in that blender before you turn it on.

Came in at 8:42pm to get coffee after being at the hospital for hours as my loved one is in comfort care at the end of their life. I had my daughter with me who asks if they have grilled cheese and the girl who was taking our order had a terrible attitude from the beginning but everyone has their off days so I looked past it. My daughter couldn’t hear her so I asked if she could repeat herself because she did not hear her and she refused to respond. Seeing that this employee was clearly having a bad day we asked that she get someone else to help us. She nastily responded that she was not going to get someone else and we could leave. Other family members that I was with had ordered so we waited around & she continued to antagonize us by staring us down and called security and “banned us”. I am absolutely disappointed that Starbucks and Stony Brook have employed a person with ZERO compassion for what people may be going through. I am sorry you’re having a bad day but so were we and yet we continue to show empathy and kindness to others.

Service is horrible you stand there for ten minutes nobody says I’ll be with you shortly I ordered a small coffee they charged me for a medium.

Don’t bother ordering anything with espresso, staff can’t be bothered to make multiple shots. Drinks always taste like milky water.

This shouldn’t be a Starbucks. The service here is subpar and they cheap out on the drinks ALL the time. Please see photo of a medium coffee I asked for in a venti cup because I wanted a little extra half & half. Never told them to not give the coffee I paid for just wanted extra half and half so this is what they do! ITS HALF EMPTY!

I ordered a venti-size ice matcha latte, and I asked them to fill it with my Starbucks plastic reusable cold cup, but the female black worker told me they couldn't put the drink in my cup and said: "YOU CAN POUR IT BY YOURSELF". I was like oh yeah I didn't know that was the way lmfao. Like I am not even asking kindness or respectfulness here, but at least have minimum responsibility on what you are doing and do your job plz :(

Was up all night with my sick daughter and had to bring her to the Pediatric Emergency Room. My husband went to get me a drink (after he worked an overnight), ordered an ice tea with no ice and this is what they gave him. When he said it’s not filled, the lady responded then you should’ve ordered a trenta. I have never ran into this problem at other sites nor have I ever heard of treating a customer this poorly. I use to work for Starbucks and understand how crazy it can get but never would treat a customer like this.

I tried ordering a caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino and a chocolate K-pop, and the customer service was terrible the lady kept giving me an attitude and wasn't listening to me very good. When I got my order I had an old moldy smoothie and a bitten k-pop. Would not recommend this place at all.

It's a pleasure to get my Caramel Macchiato from the day crew here. They are the hardest-working and nicest baristas of any Starbucks around. They deserve medals and statues erected in their honor.

After placing my order 2 workers at the hospital one ordering the same thing as me but more complicated had there order served to them before mine was made. Is there any reason why my order wouldn't have been fulfilled before there's?????
