This place is dope and a nice change of pace from the usually Suffern cuisine unlike Diddys (also in Suffern) this place actually succeeds at making the food its marketing. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is this. They never seem to have a fresh soft warm piece of bread always bad bread. Amazing Afghan spot. 1) We got the mantoo dumplings, potato bolani, and vegetarian ashak for appetizers. Everything was excellent, but personal favorite was potato bolani. 2) For main courses, we got the Chapli Kabab and lamb shank with Kabuli Palau. My recommendation is the chapli kabab. 3) Will for sure come back to try their combo options.

The lamb dish was good, the lamb itself was tender and flavorful. However it wasn't what I expected, instead of cubed cuts of lamb, it was 4 thin lamb chops on top of rice. The Dough yogurt drink was much saltier than expected, not what I had come to expect from my time in Afghanistan. Maybe it is something unique to the person making it. It will be worth while to try again. But they need to fix the prices posted on Yelp, they are significantly higher than posted
