El Pilon Bakery is worth the trip for its amazing food, with consistently good dishes, especially at breakfast. It offers some of the best Colombian food in NYC, such as delicious pan de bono and bandeja paisa. The prices are reasonable, and the customer service is excellent. However, some breads may be dry or mealy, which might be due to the use of indigenous South American flour.
