Excellent service. Server was amazing and very attentive to all of our needs. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. I have eaten at several fine dining establishments and Captain Johns atmosphere, employees and service leaves nothing to be desired. I will definitely will be back.

Captain John's Restaurant is a family-friendly place with amazing food and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is really nice, and the service is prompt and attentive, even during busy times. The 1/2 lb prime rib and lobster tail special is a must-try, along with the 2 for 1 margaritas. Meeting Captain John himself is a highlight, as he is still going strong at 99. The parking lot is spacious and free. Whether gluten-free or not, this restaurant has something for everyone. The Chicken Marsala and Surf and Turf are flavorful and tender, while the shrimp on the pasta are large and tender, and the clams are tasty. The mozzarella sticks and salads are delicious as well. The overall dining experience is worth a visit, despite slightly higher prices. Captain John's is known for its Key West vibes and full of personality, making it a fantastic welcoming spot for friends and family visiting the Sylvan Beach area.
