Really nice staff. Food was good - not fabulous, but very good. We all had the 1/2 lb prime rib and lobster tail special. It was good. The 2 for 1 margaritas were delicious. The best part was meeting Captain John himself. 99 and still going strong!Parking: Restaurant has a good-sized, free lot.
We’re vacationing in Sylvan and dining choices on Monday’s and Tuesday’s are slim pickings, especially if you’re gluten free! So after reading mixed reviews we decided to take a chance. It was Taco and Tequila Tuesday and the restaurant was crowded, but our table of three were seated right away. Our drink and appetizer order was taken promptly by our lovely, young server. We had an absolute amazing time at Captain John’s. From the time we where greeted at the door by Captain John himself, the waiter, and the time we left, we felt like family. Everyone was so pleasant and happy to see us (BYW, this was our first time here).Food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back.
