Absolutely the best pizza around Syracuse, especially if you like NYC-style. First time there today and had a slice of cheese pizza that literally made me and my friend get a little teary-eyed it was so good. The tasty crust was just the right amount of crispiness and flop. The sauce was flavorful without being overly sweet, and the sauce:cheese ratio was perfect. The staff was working hard but still friendly and made sure to acknowledge us and take our order promptly.
Always so, so, so good. Usually our first meal when arriving in Syracuse. Good dough, good sauce, good toppings all put together to make something extraordinary. Easily the best pizza in town!
By the way, it’s really a takeout restaurant. They have a couple tables and chairs, but it’s best to order online or by phone, then go and pick it up. I saw in some reviews that others have had a problem with online ordering, but ours have always been perfect.

Ordered pizza and wings on Friday 9/6/24. I have ordered food from Mario's numerous times in the past. Food is almost always awesome. Asked for a price total over the phone when I placed the order for pick up. $77 and change. Was told the same amount at the register when picking up. Put it on the credit card. It was only after I signed the receipt that I noticed the total was rounded up to $80. I thought that that was strange. I should have said something then and...
