Mi Rancho Alegre | Mexican offers a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that draws guests in. The decor and style are really nice and vibrant. Guests are greeted immediately and given chips with 2 different salsa options free of charge. The chips are tasty and not overly salty. The menu is extensive and features things anyone in your party will like, including different proteins, burritos, quesadillas, tacos and so much more. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food receives mixed feedback. Some guests found the food excellent, with the carne asada and the steak fajitas both coming with a healthy serving of yellow rice, refried beans which were amazing and corn or flower tortillas. The refried beans were a helluva lot better. The manager came to each table to ask about the experience. However, others found the food lacks flavor and is very bland, lacking seasoning and any real flavor. The queso tasted like melted american cheese. The salsa tasted like pureed tomatoes. The chicken quesadilla was bland with very little filling. The Chipotle enchiladas are good but not spectacular, and the salsa is pretty watered down. The Caldo de Res was horrid. Prices are pretty good for the amount of food received, though some feel the food is subpar especially for the price.
