“Unexpected delight @yorkcny last night 😍

I was immediately charmed by the ambience– black shiny brick, big mirrors, and lots of green plants surrounded attractive seating– and hoped the food would measure up.

The pork chop was well-cooked and flavorful but even more delicious was the egg and fried rice that surrounded it. The presentation was lovely (see little flower!!!)

The bone marrow appetizer was delicious, assuming you enjoy Gorgonzola (I do)

The pasta’s size was shockingly generous, and it was creamy and flavorful. The Calabrian peppers definitely gave it a nice kick.

The Snicker’s cookie topped with ice cream was exactly what I wanted– straight-forward, simple, and nostalgic.

As for the drinks, I wasn’t drinking tonight but my friend ordered the [Not Your Mama’s] Amaretto Sour which featured an overproof rum and was absolutely insanely delicious. Would highly recommend.

“We were seated immediately even though there were a ton of vehicles in the parking lot. Had our drinks in less than 2 minutes of sitting down. Our food came in a timely manner. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The manager made a brief stop to see how we were enjoying our meal.
I had the Hibachi salmon with rice and steamed broccoli. Broccoli was a little too over streamed but that's my personal preference, otherwise everything was delicious. My partner had the French Onion burger that she enjoyed.

“My coworker and I sat at the bar seating in front of the pizza kitchen. We had a great experience chatting with the staff making the pizzas. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive even though the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. The food was amazing from appetizer to dessert. “Stella's is one of my favorite places for fish on Friday. They have it fried, broiled or grilled. Recently I was there and ordered mashed potatoes with my fish. I did not specify without gravy. When the waitress brought my dinner I was upset because it had gravy. She took them back to the kitchen. When she returned it seemed that I had more than before. Unfortunately I am allergic to gluten, which was in the gravy. For the last 2 days, I have been having symptoms related to eating gluten.“

“Best place to have a party in event room. Maria is the best to work with. Responded very quickly to inquire of room for my father’s birthday celebration. Lots of choices for food and the pizza oven has a variety of tasty pizzas to choose from. Kim DeStefano was the best bartender, quick, efficient and exceptionally friendly. The event room was everything I wanted & could have imagined to celebrate my dad’s 80th. Highly recommend with working with Marie for any parties in the future. “Stopped in this past Friday night with my friend Mike. Had a few drinks ,ordered a pizza and antipasto,as we been trying to make it in for a while now, we grew up with the owner. The bartender was beyond friendly and very informative,and the pizza /antipasto was great. We will surely be back“

“My favorite all time banh mi spots. I’m from out of town and every time I visit I come here. The portions are very generous and it’s always quality food.
I have a couple banh mi places by where I’m from but the quality and taste is no match for this place. Not only that, the price is so reasonable I’m surprised it’s not more expensive. I wouldn’t even mind if they increased the price with how much everything is now after Covid.“

My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. “I just moved to Glen Ave and had no idea who to get good Chinese from so I read reviews. Some were scary with roaches and this looked good! Well they exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly and followed my request on shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Both rice dishes had fresh and perfectly cooked meat and not overcooked and hard. The crab ragoons are the best I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to those. This is THE best authentic Chinese restaurant I ever had and will be ordering again soon!“

Being right there in the Regional Market Complex is one reason why the food is so fresh, some of the ingredients are obviously farm to table. “Hearty Sandwiches, but Rye Bread Could Use a Toast"

Stopped by Brooklyn Pickles during a business trip on a local friend's recommendation. I ordered the corned beef on rye with Russian dressing and all the fixings. The sandwich was packed with plenty of meat and made just right!

The only minor letdown was the rye bread, which I would've preferred toasted. Still, the quality of the sandwich was great, and I'm definitely coming back to try other options. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit for a solid deli lunch!“
