The first cashier we saw was very mean and later had a big argument with a manager. Besides that the seating was nice and the food was absolutely wrong to the point it wasn’t even worth asking for a fix, my moms burger was one on the menu, not even a build your own and they got it very wrong, bacon was hard and chewy and just overall a bad experience, though the people there were moderately friendly and the ones with dogs were very kind.

These burgers slapped! I’m ready to drive 2 1/2 hours back for these burgers. Unfortunately we had the worst weather for Memorial Day weekend but this place was the highlight of our weekend. The burger meat absolutely delicious and fresh. Had to go back and order more burgers and tots with cheese. If I find myself back up in the Catskills would love to come back, hopefully in nicer weather so we can enjoy eating outside with our dog too. Didn’t know they had a dog friendly menu but he enjoyed the burger pieces we broke off for him too. :)

Just got back from backpacking hunter mountain, and this food was just what I needed. I got the Devil’s tombstone burger, which was incredible. My milkshake and fries were also delicious. This was definitely better than any fast food I would have gotten.

Big yikes. We got two large Mac and cheeses and they were absolutely disgusting. Drowning in this gross congealed cheese sauce and also COLD! Mind you, my husband waited for this. At $10 a pop that’s heinous. It also advertises as “crispy top” on the Mac… I actually think this deserves the label of slop.

The “crispy onions” were barely even coated, so you are just left with actual red onions. My chicken sandwich looked like it had a slice of Kraft single American cheese on it.

All in all, very disappointed after spending a ridiculous amount of money.

Very cute retro little spot with excellent burgers and good milkshakes. The menu was surprisingly extensive for such a little spot - including many options for canine companions - next time we will bring our four legged friend. The employee was friendly and helpful, and super accommodating for our dietary questions.

Will definitely dine here again, great place.

Ive been to this place a few times now, the atmosphere is perfect on a nice warm day. I had to write this review though bc the menu is a little deceptive or maybe they just ran out of the correct bread the night we ordered. My friends like this place bc one of us is gluten free and the other is a vegetarian. It's cool they have options for them so one more star for that but back to my order. I went for it and got a chopped cheese which was basically probably even more than two patties chopped up melted with (American?) cheese on a hotdog bun and one slice of very green lettuce. Pretty much impossible to eat without a fork and knife. If you do order a shake make sure to tell them extra thick. That's my experience. While it may be a little on the expensive side, I dont think complaining about that is valuable here, we need more small business up here and a locally sourced beef burger, fries and shake may get more and more expensive unfortunately our leadership doesnt seem to gaf about us peasants so we better get used to it

A new favorite! We were headed to another restaurant on our recent trip to the area when my husband noticed Mama's Boy Burgers was open. I always wondered what the place was like and thought it was a summer-only ice cream shop (I was wrong). They have a great menu. We ordered the standard burgers, rather than the other house favorites, and were really pleased with them. They were flavorful, steaming hot, and a very good size. The rolls were ideal and toppings were fresh. I requested crispy fries, but I think they may have crisped up what they had already fried, so next time I'll ask for a fresh batch of crispy fries. The place is small, but they have extra space. We were perfectly happy in the tight, full area (a huge family got there just before us) and we didn't want to ask the staff to heat up the other space. We will return on our next trip! Staff was very nice! The large ice cream (soft serve) was huge and OUTSTANDING.

We got four different flavors of ice cream and they were all freezer burnt. Threw them out and went to Stewart’s.
