Nikko Hibachi, Sushi Bar is located in a mall with plenty of free parking. Our party of 10 was promptly seated and orders taken. As noted in a previous review on another Japanese Hibachi, the dinner routine is well practiced and time honored.
A fun fact about Japanese Hibachi is that you could have had a grill dinner and then went to sleep for 15 years. When you woke up and then directly went to another Hibachi grill, you wouldn’t know that 15 years had gone by. The volcano onion, squirting sake and flipping bits of food into the guests’ mouths, table seating and the basic menu items have never changed. So why mess with success?
The only way to distinguish between the multitudes of Hibachi restaurants is based on the quality of the food, wait time and service.
Although the grilled food was fresh, properly prepared and seasoned, for some reason, Nikko did not have Japanese Sapporo beer available even though it was on the menu. How does a Japanese Steak house run out of Japanese beer? In addition, the guacamole salad I ordered was disappointing. The sliced guacamole was served on a simple bed of lettuce with ginger sauce but most of the sliced guac was soft and mushy. Despite this, we all enjoyed our dinner and the staff service and attitude was excellent.

I got Food poisoning after eating here last night. The kind of food poisoning from horror movies. After 12 hrs of pain and throwing up I can finally get the strength to write this. I usually have a tolerant stomach too. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else.

The worst restaurant I dealt with for years.
My wife ordered a dinner there. It was delivered to the wrong address. When we called them, they say that this is not their fault, this is Uber driver fault (they use Uber for deliveries) and suggested that we need to call the Uber driver refusing to recognize that this was their fault. When we called the driver, he said that he delivered our dinner, which we have not received.
The restaurant refused to refund us - basically they pocketed our money.
I recommend everybody to avoid going to this restaurant or ordering from there for delivery.

I ate here solo, late afternoon on a weekday.

The sashimi dinner was excellent. The fish was fresh and had a well balanced assortment. The rice was perfectly cooked, and though it’s a small detail, I loved that they gave me fresh sliced jalapeño with my order after I mentioned I liked spicy.

I absolutely will come back.

Horrible service!!!! They forgot that we were waiting for a table. Didn’t seat us until we decided to follow up. Once at the table we waited an additional 30+ mins before the chef showed up. They gave us a free bowl of edamame for the wait (they could have kept that). Another person at the table had to go and find the chef. Once the chef came he just dumped the food on the dirty grill. It was clear the grill needed to be cleaned. Someone at the table mentioned if he will clean it. He pushed everything to the side (still on the grill) and cleaned it with the rag. I swear the rag touched the veggies rice and noodles. My daughter found eggshells in the rice. On top of all of this, I had to wear my coat the whole time because it is cold in the place. I have never experienced anything like this when I’ve been to Edos or any of the hibachi restaurants. I will not be returning.
