My husband and I got to the restaurant before the huge crowd arrived on Saturday. The bartender was fabulous but was making drinks for the entire restaurant which you could tell she was overwhelmed, understandably so. They should have had at least 3 bartenders on with the amount of business they had. We slipped into RiverMarket at the end of a long day touring Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown. It was recommended by an employee at Lyndhurst.
Using GPS it was fairly straightforward to find. I did doubt some of the last turns because they were at the train station and seemed odd, but they were odd in that the roadway went over the railroad tracks. Not a big deal but good to know.
Parking was plentiful in the lot across the street and was free....

Great food, great atmosphere and Marla, an outstanding hostess. Not sure what was on our server's mind however she did seem distracted and not very friendly. Didn't seem to be a fan of our drink order, the smoke bourbon cocktail, and she didn't let it sit at the table but rather uncovered it quickly which prevented the smoke from permeating the cocktail. Training? Who knows but overall a nice lunch experience!
