I wish I could give a higher rating based on my first experience here cause it was wonderful. I am looking forward to enjoying it again tonight, so far everyone who I have introduced to Gionna’s has been very impressed by the freshness and the quality of the food. I hope the owners see this review because the stores posted hours on Google says they close at at 8pm which is false.I had such a great meal and experience the last time I can’t wait to try them again!
I recently hosted had a surprise Birthday party at my house catered by Gionas Kitchen. We had 35 guests and everything was amazing. Giona personally was on top of every detail, pre planning until party date. The menu included several GF options which was so helpful. All the appetizers and entrees were outstanding and my family was very impressed. Just perfect. Shout out to Kristen who was our server and helped me make everything run smoothly. Regina Doherty

Giona catered my Dad's 1/2 Way to St. Paddy's Day party. He was wonderful to work with. The food was delicious -- his signature Bangers and Mash was a big hit.
Maria managed the banquet style event incredibly well. The table was nicely arranged and kept up so well throughout. We look forward to more food by Giona and would HIGHLY recommend them! A fantastic experience! Giona’s Kitchen

Food is normally good here but they sold us a “too good to go” order when they were closed. Drove a long way to find that out. Google maps didn’t know they were closed either.

My company had Giona’s kitchen catered to out staff holiday party in the middle of December 2022. Everything about the food far exceeded our expectations. We had grilled salmon, chicken princepesa, veal stew, penne caprese , just to list a few items. At the end of serving dinner, there was no leftovers. We have had other caterers over the years but none in comparison to Giona’s. The best part to me was Giona following up the next day.. It was all praises of how great the food was. I would definitely recommend Giona’s Kitchen to anyone looking for caterers.

Always fantastic! Giona went above and beyond to make our fish dinner special. He accommodated the budget and even personally delivered the catered items. We would like to highly recommend Giona’s Kitchen. Giona and staff did a wonderful job catering my sons’s outdoor graduation party for 80+ people. Everyone was complementing the food and service. From the hors d’oeuvres to the pig roast to the live paella station and more, Giona was a pleasure to work with to customize the menus and provided great suggestions. The presentation was spot on and the staff was very attentive. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Stopped here since it had a number of vegan options on the menu. I ordered the Mexican vegan burrito and it was more like a strange veggie panini..no beans, rice, avocado, etc as described, but large chunks of carrots, pickle, and zucchini in a tortilla. Honestly not bad tasting but not at all as described - I had asked the woman what was in it before ordering so I know she didn’t mis-hear my order. Very odd. She was really sweet though so I feel bad leaving a low review :(

Giona catered our wedding party for 45 people on Sunday, August 7, 2022. Everything we ordered exceeded our expectations. Our favorite, by far, was the Toscano Facaccia Panini; it was to die for! Everything was very fresh and beautifully prepared and the skewered fruit was so sweet and delicious. Giona was a real pleasure to work with and we highly recommend him for any type of party or just drop by his place in Thornwood, New York, for a bite to eat. Thanks again Giona, you made our day special!
