We just tired after a long drive and wanted some relatively simple, healthy comfort food. This place was one of the few open restaurants left as the season ended in Ticonderoga. So, we went. We both ordered the taco salad (from a menu with not a lot of Mexican dishes on it - mainly good, basic American grub). And it was fantastic! Great fries large portions One of the few open after 2 on a Sunday in Ticonderoga fairly full parking lot always posses a good restaurant and this was no exception we were a party of four three opted for chicken strips and homemade fries and one went with the fried clam platter with reg fries All were good sized portions and hot Staff was responsive and courteous and establishment was clean and neat Good food and good bang for the buck

Arrived in Ticonderoga on a Sunday night, not many options for a real sit down dinner at the time so we gave this a try. Got our appetizer quickly, fried mushrooms, they were very good. Took quite a while to get our meals, surprisingly because they weren't very busy. Wife had the chicken finger basket (huge portion), I had the shrimp (6), both with fries. Everything was very good. Service was on the slow side, interior was dark.
