My husband and I, from Niagara Region, Ontario came to Buffalo yesterday to do some Christmas shopping. We stopped in to Caputi’s for lunch. I had the wings and my husband had the roast beef on weck. The wings were the best wings I’ve ever tasted! So crispy and saucy! My husband said that his sandwich was terrific too! We were served by Lisa, who was always there if you needed anything and was outstanding! I can’t say enough great things about this tavern!
stopped at 9:30 pm Saturday. Bar was populated by regulars watching the MLB world series. Bartenders were very friendly and prompt. Beer is their thing here, but they had a small wine selection also, Drinks were good, as were chicken wings and quesadilla. So, overall friendly staff serving good drinks and decent bar food for OK prices.
First time visiting. Nice atmosphere for a large group, however the server was very forgetful (even though she was pleasant) and honestly should have had a helper for a group of 25+ eating. The salad dressing they claimed was Thousand Island was definitely not (still have no clue what it was because it smelled funny and server even went back to kitchen to double check) which made the salad not good as it was eaten plain. My children said the fries and pizza were not so good either....
