Sweet place, very friendly and efficient servers, gorgeous outdoor seating. We ordered Margherita pizza and it was fine but not wonderful. The crust is very good, fresh basil was good, tomatoes were just grocery store quality. Fresh mozzarella was also good but not wonderful. If you’ve had really top notch wood fired pizza, you might feel this doesn’t quite cut it but it’s definitely better than standard sauce and cheese pizzeria pizza.

Bacchus is hands down one of the great pizza spots in Troy. The crust is perfectly chewy with just the right amount of char, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip — it’s a must-have starter.

We have only tried the pizza here, but it’s excellent. I highly recommend paying extra for the fresh mozzarella, it’s worth the extra money. I wish they sold individual glasses of wine instead of half bottles, but their cider offerings can be purchased by the glass and are tasty. Outdoor seating is a great option in the warmer months!
