Dinosaur Bar-B-Que Reviews
My phone wouldn't let.me scan the bar code to complete the survey yesterday but a review is definitely necessary. First time at.the Troy location. I had honey bbq wings for an appetizer. Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant...read full review
On Friday, while myself and the group I was with were driving home to Buffalo from Boston, we stopped at dinosaur BBQ for dinner. The food was delicious and the service was great. I got home and realized I left my purse in Troy, NY which is approximately a 4 and a half hour drive one way. I called the restaurant to ask if I left it, which I did. The lovely worker said she would talk to her boss the next day and took my number down. The next morning, Thomas called me and asked...read full review
Although the food looked amazing the burger was RAW, RAW when I wanted Med rare and VERY bland, NO flavor other then grease and the cajun catfish was more Cajun then catfish. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que offers a great selection of BBQ and Southern-style sides, along with a variety of beers on tap, including 8 oz. glasses. The restaurant can get busy, especially on weekends, but a call-ahead wait list is available. The menu features a range of options, including ribs, brisket, chicken, pulled pork, salads, and dinners for two or more. The food is consistently delicious, with standout items like BBQ fried rice, Cajun deviled eggs, and flavorful brisket. It’s a fun place; very casual, with a huge bar, sports on TV, and lovely outdoor seating at sunset. Service is always speedy and gracious. Despite limited parking, the restaurant is a great choice for those craving smoked barbecue at a reasonable price.
