Great restaurant! They have it all: great food, good tables, good atmosphere, good decor, nice views, great service! We had a brisket and bacon sandwich, BBQ chicken, fries, fries with gravy (excellent gravy), mac & cheese, and corn bread. Good portion sizes, too. Loved it. We walked from the Best Western hotel across the street. (photo note: the chicken breast is on a side plate bc it came out of the smoker after the other pieces on the plate. Bar food with a leaning toward bbq. Edit... visited again yesterday for just something small and a take out for my wife. We had some wings and a side of coleslaw. I had a diet, and we both had a beer. They had 8 oz. glasses for draft beer. Extra points from me as I do not want a pint when I go some where and want a draft. This edit is to say a small beer option, I think, is very good.
Dinosaur is reliably terrific. Limited options for vegetarians (reasonable at a BBQ joint!) but we always get the mushroom Reuben and it is worth coming back for over and over. The sides are also delicious- fried green tomatoes are damn good, greens with smoked turkey are salty and intense, and lots of the other sides are delicious.
It’s a fun place; very casual, huge bar with sports on tv, outdoor seating is lovely at sunset.
