Puerto Rican Restaurants in Troy, NY

“I live in the neighborhood and was really excited when I noticed this place. They are recently re-opened under new ownership (Aug 2026). They specialize in Puerto Rican food but they also offer things like burgers, fries and chicken wings. I tried their beef empanadas, pernil, arroz con gandules, tostones and amarillos/maduros and everything was excellent!!! Seriously delicious. If you are a fan of Puerto Rican and Caribbean food you need to check them out!
The beef empanadas were the first thing I tried and I could immediately tell I was going to be happy here since they were flavorful and well seasoned with sofrito. Fried perfectly! Fresh!
They are doing breakfast, lunch and dinner right now. It's a small family run business and they've been running some daily specials and deals that rotate. The pricing is very reasonable which also encourages me to visit more often.
The dining space includes several tables and some counter seating. There's some cute Puerto Rico themed artwork and music playing. The staff is very friendly, they speak English and Spanish.
I noticed they have a steady stream of customers, which is always a good sign. The food is good!!! They sometimes sell out so come quick!“
