I was disappointed with my Seafood Platter order from Union Seafood Hoosick St. The seafood I received didn’t appear fresh, the color looked off, and it tasted spoiled. When I went back to the restaurant to address the issue, the woman at the front, who said her name was Cindy, interrupted me several times and told me to contact Uber Eats instead. I explained I wasn’t asking for a refund, only to share my concern about food quality and to possibly get a new plate that was fresh, but she repeated the same response. I’ve noticed the freshness and quality here can be hit or miss, and while the prices are affordable, food safety especially with seafood is important. The same restaurant on Central ave I’ve had the same experience. See photos for below. (Food looked even worse in person.) I recommend checking your order carefully before eating.

Really enjoyed our seafood! We had cajun craw dads and snow crab each in a different but delicious sauce. Looking forward to trying their other sauces and cuisine. The prices were great for generous portions and we enjoyed our experience.

I am not a seafoodie at all. I recently had the in the south low country boil. The food was amazing. I tried it all including the very delicious corn on the cob. I highly recommend for all new seadfoodies and the existing seafoodie

Very good seafood. It was all boiled perfectly except the shrimp was a bit overcooked. But the cajain sauce and getting it spicy was great. You get plenty of food. Great place and will visit again.
