This place has seriously fallen off. I used to order from them all the time while living in Troy. I placed an order for delivery, this time, and when inquiring about the status of my order — I was told they didn’t have an order under my name. That quickly switched to, “the delivery driver already picked up your order” despite me looking at the tracking and seeing that a driver was never assigned. To top it off, the woman that handled the interaction was rude, continually spoke over me, and provided no resolution whatsoever. The food is normally okay, and admittedly, their food is often lackluster. It’s really a hit or miss. $100 later and I have no order nor my money. In the past, where I would recommend them, I only wish I was there in person to speak to someone. The way the issue was handled was highly unprofessional and disrespectful to say the least. NEVER ordering here again.

Always only order or go to this place for seafood cravings. It is only tonight that I got disappointed because I did not get the correct orders. For their promo on buy one take one, might as well call first before you order. It was not accurate in Uber eats and I miss the extra one. But I would still give a 4 star because its very tasty.

We went the first time because I was missing the Gulf Coast shrimp I enjoyed as a younger lady. The location is a bit difficult to get in and out of, maybe it's just my anxiety. I love this place. Staff are friendly, the seasonings are spot on, fresh seafood, delicious fried food. I'm from the deep, dirty south and it is so hard up here to find good seafood. This is great seafood. I am in love with the fruit teas. The shrimp are always juicy and plump. They will mix the garlic butter with the Cajun and it hits the spot every time. I took a point off because the napkins are too small and not enough. You almost need a good washcloth. We never use the bibs you just dive in and enjoy.

I, tripped on this place and omg,so glad I did! my favorite is "The get your hands dirty " options. the fried fish is the best. so far I have been their 3 times so far and will travel just for this place. We spent about 80 bucks and got poor service. We kept having to request things. One of the staff members was rude with no communication whatsoever. When approached about it she became very combative. We complained to the manager but I doubt anything would be done about it. Shame because the food is very high standard. They could've gotten 5 stars.

Chinese takeout restaurant with expanded menu. There is plenty of parking in a large plaza with many restaurants.Most of the business at Union Seafood is take out. For those that eat in, they bring your order out to the table, but that's about as far as it goes for table service. Free tap water. The people taking your order are not friendly. Just state your order in a loud and clear manner, pay, and then sit at a table and wait for them to bring out the order. The restaurant interior is plain and sparsely decorated. Not very inviting. I have never seen a table in use other than employees on break or the employee's children just hanging out. This is not the kind of place that a lot of people are going to eat in.The food is comparable in quality to that of a Chinese takeout restaurant. The menu includes standard Chinese fare like fried rice, lo mein, Chinese vegetables.Boiled seafood is where the name of the restaurant, Union Seafood, is derived from. They have boiled shrimp, crab legs, crawfish. Not bad, but not great. I think there are better restaurants in the area for boiled seafood.They also serve many fried items: french fries, onion, rings, moz sticks, spring rolls, chicken wings, chicken tenders, fish. Boiled items included corn, potatoes, eggs.Union Seafood is a Chinese takeout restaurant with a lot of different menu items. Service and decor is substandard, but the food quality is up to par. Go here if you're looking for takeout Chinese, but want something a little different.
The hibachi lunch is delicious and for only $11! I definitely recommend this place. Food is terrific.

My first time eating at Union Seafood. The eating area was very clean and spacious. Take out business was booming. I ordered the 1lb of crab legs and 1lb of headless shrimp. Serving size was good. The bag contained the shrimp, crab legs, potatoes, boiled eggs and plenty of sauce. They were very accommodating because I requested to use less of anything salty. My only complaint is I really think the crab legs and the eggs were overcooked. Not really concerned about the eggs. The meat of the claws was mushy to a certain degree. I could never get a nice solid piece of meat from the claws and I think that's an indication that it's slightly overcooked. With corn being out of season I found the corn could have been old and it had big kernels. They don't put sausage in their combo of shrimp and crab legs.

Sounds simple right ?Nope. Not at all.The person on the phone was really rude and unprofessional. She wasn’t understanding what I was saying. She kept saying she called to tell us we ordered it wrong. Saying we have to put 2 of the same order in the cart for the promotion. But my thing is…if you see we only ordered one. And it’s a buy 1 get 1 free special. Why can’t you just put the free one in the order ?
