First time at a hibachi place in the united states...i must say i had a great time! Great atmosphere and lovely people sittig at our table. Great customer service! Too much fish sauce on the food(i hate seafood, mainly a biased opinion) but overall, amazing! The tempura cheesecake is to die for!

Based on the reviews, Sushi Ume is a lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, nice lighting, and amazing decorations. The staff is attentive and the service is great. The food is fresh and delicious, with ingredients cooked perfectly. The gyoza, crispy rice, and noodles are all so good. The salmon dream roll was delicious. The omakase is a great spread of fresh fish and is a high caliber of sushi. The sushi rolls are generally good, and the nigiri sushi quality is very good. The miso soup was a little watery, but the salad was very good with quality lettuce and excellent carrot/ginger dressing. The lunch specials are great value. The restaurant is comfortable, though a little worn, and the smell of the fryer can be palpable. Some roll content was too cold, and the food delivery had a strange cadence. Overall, it is a decent sushi experience and a go-to for delicious food.
