I had the sushi lunch set at Okinami in Norwood, NJ, and it was fantastic. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The set came with sushi, a tuna roll, miso soup, salad, edamame, and tempura, all for just $26. The quality, presentation, and portion size were excellent. Great value for the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh sushi in the area. I’ll definitely be back! 🍣“

“We were first time been osaka sushi last night , it was very cold outside , but restaurant was very warm , the waitress was very nice and friendly , we didn’t know how it was work about ayce, waitress was very patient to tell me how it is works, we had 3 round sushi and kitchen, everything was great and delicious , we recommend more and more people come to try this sushi spot. “This place has the potential of being staple in the harlem neighborhood. It more of Americanized Japanese food that they serve. Which is not a bad thing, this is good place if you want something different but still stay in the familiarity of dishes. Their prices are very fairand give good portion sizes. “I just finished a fabulous Hawaiian poke bowl that I would recommend to anyone. A perfect blend of crunchy spicy and succulent. “I’ve ordered from this place close to 20 times and all have been excellent. Even though this is primarily a takeout establishment, the staff here takes their sushi craft seriously. The cuts are consistent. Quality of the ingredient is also objectively good regardless of price point. Even the care they put into placing pieces inside takeout containers, you can see they really care about what they do. I will continue to be a customer as long as they maintain their current level of quality, which they have as long as I’ve been a customer.“

This drink is a sparkling yuzu lemonade, expertly crafted by the bartender! “We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“I had a wonderful date night yesterday at Osaka. I randomly had a taste for hibachi so I searched and came across this location in Tarrytown. Although it was a 30 min drive from home we decided to try our luck. When we arrived, to surprise it was jammed packed however they say us down and we had drinks while we waited. The hostess was very attentive during our wait and even provided edamame on the house because the wait was quite extensive due to 3 birthday celebration which were lagging at each table. Once we were seated the food was made fairly quick and my partner and I enjoyed our meals. The noodles were a bit salty but overall my I really enjoyed my meal and my partner even told me my pick was a great choice! I will be back soon!“

“Sushi & Kimchi has become my new favorite comfy, cozy, and cute hideaway in Rockland for when I want the best tasting and authentic Korean and Japanese cuisine. Gina (owner) and Julie (waitress) are both absolutely lovely! Both Gina and the restaurant remind me of what I recall to have been the first Korean/Japanese sushi house in Bardonia, NY that I grew up up dining at in the early 2000’s and up until I moved out of state in 2008. Unfortunately, that location is no longer in business, but Sushi & Kimchi definitely gives all the nostalgic feels! The foos is always fresh and absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, the service is always on point, and you’re welcomed each time with a warm welcome from everyone! It’s a little hidden gem in a parking lot off of Route 59 in Nyack that winds down in the late afternoon and is calm in the evening. The perfect place to go for an overall relaxing experience that will have you leaving full after having enjoyed every last bite! I’ve also ordered through DoorDash and the presentation, temperature, taste and overall quality were all solid as well. Thoroughly impressed!

“I don’t know about the rest of you all, but this is by far, the best Japanese Cuisine place in the Area. Some of the best items from their menu The Angry Dragon Sushi, The Shrimp tempura, and the Spicy Salmon rolls.

Also try the gyoza and the amazing Kani salad (regular or spicy)

Also the presentation is outstanding, and don’t forget to try their amazing Thai ice Tea which is homemade. 100% recommended. 🫶🏻

“Was looking for a place to grab dinner and found this place online so decided to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. Located in an area that makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, Enbu was a nice surprise to stumble upon. The first thing I noticed were the bright colors and very nice water feature, which were nice touches to the decor of the restaurant. We split a pineapple cocktail that we enjoyed, it was sweet but just strong enough to do the trick. For an appetizer, we split what I found to be my favorite food there, the pork gyoza. They were absolutely delicious, and might be my favorite gyoza/dumpling I’ve ever had. The ginger they used for my salad was a tad bit strong for my liking, but I still also enjoyed it. For our entrees, we had the hibachi steak and mixed vegetables and the salmon teriyaki and broccoli, both of which were served with rice. We would both say they were good, but arguably nothing you wouldn’t find from another Asian restaurant. In the end, for the price of everything I’d say it was still very worth the visit and would recommend to someone else looking for similar food in the area. Perhaps we’ll be back to try out some stuff off the sushi menu in the future“

“One of the best “clean food” spots in Fort Lee. Prices are among the lowest around, and the food is consistently good. The menu isn’t very complex, but they really nail what they do offer. There’s enough variety to find something you like, plus fresh juices to go with it. It seems like a family-owned spot — I’ve been seeing the same lady here for about 16 years now. The location is super convenient, too. The food won’t blow your mind, but it’s solid and dependable.“

“The best AYCE sushi spot in Bergen County by far. I always have a very favorable opinion of the AYCE joints that include sashimi on the menu as they are quite rare. Asahi is a rare gem. Fish quality is pretty much standard to its competition and it's AYCE so I won't dive into that too much. The rolls were decent, nothing to write home about but complemented the sashimi well. I visited on Friday night and there was about a 15 minute wait. The fact that it's BYOB I think certainly helps with its popularity but the atmosphere was pretty lively, Asahi appears to be the hot spot in Norwood. Will visit again!“
