“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!

The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!

And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!

“This is my first time trying a poke bowl with my family and i was super nervous because it was expensive and i was worried we wouldn’t like it. I used ubereats and the bowl size made me doubt because it was pretty small but it ended up being a perfect portion! This was delicious everything was fresh and the rice was still warm. The only thing i didn’t like was the tiny scoop of avocado for $2 and way too much sauce. Other than that it was so good! They also gave us a buy one get one free pineapple whip. Very refreshing! “Was looking for a place to grab dinner and found this place online so decided to give it a try, and this place did not disappoint. Located in an area that makes it easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, Enbu was a nice surprise to stumble upon. The first thing I noticed were the bright colors and very nice water feature, which were nice touches to the decor of the restaurant. We split a pineapple cocktail that we enjoyed, it was sweet but just strong enough to do the trick. For an appetizer, we split what I found to be my favorite food there, the pork gyoza. They were absolutely delicious, and might be my favorite gyoza/dumpling I’ve ever had. The ginger they used for my salad was a tad bit strong for my liking, but I still also enjoyed it. For our entrees, we had the hibachi steak and mixed vegetables and the salmon teriyaki and broccoli, both of which were served with rice. We would both say they were good, but arguably nothing you wouldn’t find from another Asian restaurant. In the end, for the price of everything I’d say it was still very worth the visit and would recommend to someone else looking for similar food in the area. Perhaps we’ll be back to try out some stuff off the sushi menu in the future“

returning to the restaurant to swap the dish was not an option. I reached out to management to explain the situation and I was incredibly impressed by how they handled it. The manager was professional, understanding, and immediately made things right by issuing a full refund for the entire order.
It’s rare to find a restaurant that truly prioritizes customer satisfaction, especially when a mistake occurs. Despite the initial issue, the excellent service and their willingness to go above and beyond to fix it have earned my respect. Although I couldn't enjoy the rice myself, a family member did, and they said it was great! I truly appreciate the restaurant taking responsibility, and I look forward to ordering from them again.“

“I’ve been to a lot of sushi spots in NYC and Long Island, but Daruma of Tokyo in Great Neck honestly surprised me in the best way. The vibe here is so warm and inviting, the staff actually pay attention to you, check in without hovering, and make you feel comfortable right away. It’s the kind of place where you can relax the second you sit down.

The sushi was unbelievably fresh. I’m picky about sashimi, and theirs tasted clean and smooth with zero fishy aftertaste. The tuna practically melts, and the salmon had that perfect buttery texture you only get from really high-quality cuts. The amaebi and ikura were standouts too, sweet, fresh, and not overly briny. You can tell they take their time with the prep because everything came out beautifully presented.

One thing that really impressed me was the pricing. For the quality you’re getting, it honestly feels like a steal. I’ve paid way more at places that didn’t even come close. This spot proves you don’t need to drop crazy money just to get genuinely good sushi.

It’s definitely a place I’d bring friends or family to, especially people who appreciate authentic Japanese flavors without any pretension. And yes the claw machines in the back are such a cute touch. We ended up playing after dinner and won a couple of toys, which just made the night even better.

“I chose the sushi deluxe, and I guess it’s similar to an omakase style. They told me it would be 9 pieces with one roll, and honestly, all the selections were great. The fish was very fresh and high quality. I was also really impressed by their service.

My friend and I were deep in conversation and lost track of time, but they never rushed us to leave. I will definitely be coming back and will make a reservation next time (we were lucky to get seats with no wait just by walking in)!“

They offer a decently priced menu full of Japanese favorites including cooked dishes if you are not a sushi fan. I opted for a traditional tuna maki roll and a spicy tuna roll as apart of the lunch special. Both were so tasty I ended up ordering another roll to go and the crispy rice. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and traditional decor, very bright and clean looking. Sometimes these restaurants these days can get a little too funky with the decor so they made a proper choice maintaining simplicity. I see they deliver so I will definitely be ordering again when I am not in the area.“
