Food is pretty good and authentic in flavors. They give good portions- expect to spend if you like sides like Breadfruit or bammy...it adds up quick. Some days the service is ehhh as you will be waiting to even be acknowledged- this sucks when you waited behind someone being served only to go up and hear "we don't have that today".
I've gotten food here a few times. It's one of the better Jamaican Restaurants on LI. I got two orders of ox tail the other day for the first time and they were literally nothing but fat. Wish I had looked at them before I left. For $24 per plate you'd think there would actually be meat. I won't write them off completely but stay away from the ox tail or at least check it before you leave.

I reviewed this place 4 years ago on Yelp and gave it 3 stars. Today, I'm lowering my rating. A month ago in a breakfast order, they didn't include an order of hominy porridge. Today, again, they didn't send my hominy porridge. I'm not sure what the problem is, but obviously quality control needs work. I gave them another chance and ordered dinner this evening.
